Wear Gloves!

 

To obtain the key to recycle bin, contact the Ray Bianchi, Manager of the Transfer Station.  The bottom door is to be kept locked the top door is to be left open. 

 

Bags are available inside Transfer Station Office or inside the recycle bin. 

Notify Bruce Fernandez 228-9469 if there are no bags.

 

Envelopes for the money are kept on a shelf inside the recycle bin.  (If you have A10 business sized envelopes at home, consider printing one using the above link before you go to the transfer station.) Envelopes are to be completed and dropped off  at the recycle center in Manchester.  When you drop off the empty envelope you should receive an envelope for payment for the prior weeks recycling from Manchester Recycling. Cash is to be delivered to Treasurer Laurie Marks the Thursday after the bin is emptied.

 

Cans, Bottles and Plastics are to be separated at the Dump.  Bottles should be stacked neatly in the "banana boxes" supplied by Manchester Recycling.   All extra paper, bags, and cardboard is to be put in dumpsters at the dump.

Initial the bottle redemption form in the recycle bin to indicate you emptied the bin that day.

• Scouts are responsible to arrange alternate coverage if they are not available
• Bin is to be emptied each Wednesday (open until 4:30pm) and each Saturday (open until 4pm), near the end of the day (3PM-4PM)
• Scouts are responsible for cleaning the bin and the surrounding area each week
• Scouts are expected to advise Bruce Fernandez 228-9469 if the recycle bin requires maintenance or repair
• Cash is to be delivered to Treasurer Laurie Marks the Thursday after the bin is emptied.
